Hi everyone. In 2020, I decided to take a break from my work and relocate to the US to be with my partner. What I hoped would be a fun and much-needed break turned out to be the most stressful year of my life. I am planning to get back to work but this break has left me feeling overwhelmed and nervous. Would you guys have any advice for me as I try to get back into the workforce?😰

Hi Atira, It can be stressful when you have no contact or connection with others in a work environment. Networking is something that is always useful to try and connect back with people. Talking to others and hearing their experiences during this past year or just their own career experiences may help you not feel overwhelmed. Also separately reach out to others who are also in your same position (not working this past year) to be able to chat about the feelings and emotions. Networking becomes easier when you use your Networking Letter (From Peppercorn Discovery) to help people have a little bit of sense about yourself.
Would love to hear tips from others!bit
