Hi everyone! I’m Dianna Eckford, Sr. Coach Consultant at Lee Hecht Harrison where I help career professionals write winning resumes and help prepare for their next interview. What's top of the mind for me is preparing the right questions for the after the interview.
Prior to Lee Hecht Harrison, I created, from scratch, a Learning & Development department for 1 startup company, and 1 small to mid size company as well as revamped Ernst & Young's Learning & Development for the Pacific Northwest Area.
To relax, I enjoy watching old black & white movies and watching my favorite NFL football team, the Dallas Cowboys!
Ask me anything about resume writing and interviews.
Hi @diannaeckford ! Hope is not too late to ask a question. I never experienced a work environment in a big company or outside my past familiar role. This makes me very confuse to come up with relevant questions when I don’t have total clarity on how operates the company I’m applying for or the department I want to join. Is there a way I can tackle this and find easier way to have good questions ? Thank you!
Hello Jamischwarzwalder,
Your resume and your LinkedIn should only show the last 15 years of your professional work experience. Your resume should have the following:
an opening statement (summary of your skills), the last 15 years of your work experience, education, volunteer affiliations and/or certificates. I hope this answers your questions!😁
When my whole job history is on Linkedin, What is essential to include on my resume, and what is ok to leave off?
Thanks so much for joining us @dianna! Discoverers – please ask @diannaeckford your questions before Friday, May 21st. She may not have time to answer every questions, upvote your favorites!
